In the unlikely event that your insurance policy does not provide cover for the damage to your drain or water main, we shall send you a copy of the report and estimate from our appointed contractor and it is entirely up to you to decide if you want to pay privately for the repairs or not. You will receive no charge from us.
When your drainage system goes shared it may well become the responsibility of your local water company, but don't worry - we can check where the blockage or defect is and work out if it is your liability or your water company's. If it is the defect is one your own private drain we will look at the options open to you for repairing or claiming under your buildings insurance policy.
No. An insurance policy provides financial compensation for costs incurred by you as a result of an insured peril. If you own your property, then legally you can insist on using a particular contractor, but not your insurers. Your insurers can impose a financial limit on repairs if their contractor could repair for a lower cost. However all of our approved contractors operate a price match policy, so the most you will ever have to pay to use us is your policy excess - Not a penny more.
From registration to settlement with fully managed repairs
Repairs guaranteed by accredited contractors
No charge for our service - need only cost your policy excess
